For all of those who have been living under a rock for the past summer, Tropic Thunder is a movie about movie stars who think that they are shooting a war-based movie, but instead are actually placed in a real-life war-setting. Confused?Well, besides having Jack Black in it (whom I do not particularly enjoy seeing on film, with the exception of High Fidelity) and Ben Stiller in it (sorry Ben, but the last few movies I've seen with you in it SUCKED), I am looking forward to see Robert Downey, Jr. in the film.
If you don't remember, the movie has stirred its fair share of controversy when the official posters and trailers leaked out, showing Robert Downey, Jr. portraying what looks like blackface, and more recently, with Ben Stiller's character being in a movie playing a mentally challenged role.
Anyway, check out the studio's attempt to generate more interest in the film by putting up fake "official" websites for the three lead roles:
