Hm, not really an interesting day for births, but I don't mind sharing this day with the likes of Christopher Walken and THE MAN Al Gore :D

New Jersey celebrates "Thomas Mundy Peterson Day," in honor of the historic first African-American to vote n an election under the just-enacted provisions of the 15th Amendment to the United States Constitution.

As for current events, the Slumdog Millionare DVD is released today.
