"The findings go against the traditional view of romance -- that it drops off sharply in the first decade -- but we are sure it's real," said Arthur Aron, a psychologist at Stony Brook, told the Sunday Times.
So there you have it folks, true love CAN exist a long time. For 10% of us, anyway. I hope you are listening, Jorge J! A little background for you readers- he is the funniest person to watch romantic comedies with, he mumbles things like, "yeah, like that would ever happen in real life, oh COME ON!" through the entirety of the movie. True Love, FTW!

Hey guys,
I tried to e-mail one of you but couldn't find a proper address...
I'm a features reporter for the Record in Bergen County... We're going to be launching a new feature in the next month in which I hang out in a town and write about the experience or "feel" of the area.
I gathered from the blog that some (three?)of you are from Pal Park - would you guys be interested in kicking around the town w/ me for a few hours and see what kind of trouble we can get into?
I know an older Italian guy who grew up in Pal Park and was hoping to get a "back in the day" type experience from him. From you guys I was hoping for a younger, modern trip - just hitting the spots you guys hang out at, be it bars, stores, restaurants, parks... whatever...
Lemme know what you think,
Cheers,
rob

Yes!! I knew it!! :)
And I totally laughed out loud when you quoted Jorge. I could so hear him saying that, in fact I think I HAVE heard him say it.
Good post.
a prediction for 2009 for Jorge:
Hugh Grant will star in yet another romantic comedy in the summer.
