Band of the Day

The Ting Tings is an English indie-pop band, best known for their song "Shut Up and Let Me Go," used in this iPod commercial above. Really catchy sounds, all-around fun music to bop around to, and perfect for the coming summer. My favorite song of theirs is Fruit Machine. The band consists of 2 members: Jules De Martino (drums, guitar, vocals) and Katie White (vocals, guitar, bass drum). Their album, We Started Nothing, was released on 5/20/08, which I'll probably pick up in the near future. They're definitely on my radar, as cool musicians to watch out for.
