Approximately 80,000 Korean citizens took to the streets in protest of the sanctions on US beef being lifted. Koreans fear that American beef can cause Mad Cow Disease. The US has said that an open beef market is an essential in order for them to ratify the free trade agreement. No matter what, I still think bulgogi is crazy good. (I apologize to all for that joke)

I get the feeling that Koreans are either very susceptible to questionable ideas or just like to protest in the streets a lot.
i dont blame em. why risk bringing a disease over for some beef. it is a pretty serious disease that even the US does not take likely.
